Foreplay, Slowed Down: Building Better Intimacy
Share
Great sex rarely starts at full speed. The most connected, memorable experiences usually begin long before anyone reaches for a toy — in the slow build of attention, touch and anticipation we call foreplay. At Luvland we treat foreplay as the whole runway, not a quick formality on the way to the main event.
Start with attention, not technique
The simplest way to raise the temperature is to be fully present. Put the phone in another room, make eye contact, and let curiosity lead. Feeling genuinely wanted is more arousing than any single move.
Use your whole body
Skin is the largest organ you have, so use more of it. Slow kisses along the neck and shoulders, light fingertips down the spine, and unhurried massage all send the same message: there's no rush. Tease the areas around the most sensitive spots before you go anywhere near them.
Bring toys in gently
A little external stimulation early on can make everything that follows more intense. A bullet or a wand used lightly over clothing, or a few drops of a warming lubricant, keeps the focus on building sensation rather than racing to a finish.
Talk as you go
"Higher," "slower," "just like that" — a few quiet words remove the guesswork and pull you both closer. Foreplay isn't a checklist; it's a conversation. Slow it down, pay attention, and the rest tends to take care of itself.
